![]() Shame on me I guess for trusting my critical info here. Install the LastPass browser extension in Firefox, and use the Import option to transfer your existed saved passwords and logins to LastPass. Make sure you are signed into your Firefox browser with your preferred Firefox profile. I've lost complete trust in LastPass and am immediately going to start changing all of my passwords that were stored in last pass and such and keeping a local copy. LastPass will store your Firefox account password so you can sign onto any device or platform where you access Firefox. ![]() I worked at Microsoft for 23 years - so I'm not a novice with this. LastPass says the changes are needed to ensure all customers are protected by their latest. They sent the code to the proper phone number - so why doesn't it follow through and work? And they keep taking me in circles. The password manager service LastPass is now forcing some of its users to pick longer master passwords. The site says it will send me an email - it doesn't. Certain pages will come up invalid - like the lastpass/recovery. ![]() I'm quite concerned that the LastPass site has been hacked - as things are just not right with providing the proper information and the response from the site does not make sense. I found somewhere to send me a code via the multi factor authentication - and they send me a code to my phone - which I IMMEDIATELY enter in - and the computer UI tells me the code has expired (within seconds?) I tried this a couple times. I see updates were done on 11/14 - and that seems to have broke my access? I KNOW my master password is correct (but it tells me it is not). Time spent on tedious, repetitive password management tasks and the security risks passwords create could be better spent on other projects. ![]() I am unable to log into LastPass this week. Why the password problem needs to be fixed now Continuing with the status quo is unsustainable for IT teams, especially with the need to support a greater number of remote employees. ![]()
